And to our Panel Partners:
Our expert speakers share their knowledge and valuable insight. Yet again this year we have an impressive line-up of the best industry thought leaders.
Robert helped establish the Association of Mortgage Intermediaries (AMI) as an independent entity on 1st February 2012.
Robert joined the former parent trade body, AIFA, in October 2006, initially looking after the Association of Finance Brokers (AFB) and, since 2008, AMI.
He looks after the day-to-day running of AMI and AFB by delivering member information and services, lobbying regulators and policy-makers and developing press relations.
Rachel worked in financial services for eight years in a variety of roles, primarily for mortgage lenders, before joining AMI in 2023 as a senior policy adviser.
A key part of her role is focused on leading Working in Mortgages, the joint AMI/IMLA careers and diversity and inclusivity initiative.
Other areas she covers include the Financial Ombudsman Scheme and the Appointed Representatives regime.
Emily Hollands is group head of distribution at OSB Group. She leads a team of key relationship managers overseeing the corporate accounts, specialist distributors and key firms. She‘s also responsible for the high-net-worth client team and intermediary-focused retention team.
Emily joined OSB Group, originally OneSavings Bank, in 2016 as a national account manager before moving into the role of head of national accounts. She became head of specialist finance in 2021 and more recently group head of distribution.
There’s nothing Jonathan relishes more than sharing his knowledge and helping find the perfect solution.
Specialist lending is Jonathan’s passion and, as a corporate account manager, he’s responsible for not only supporting our advisers, key networks and mortgage clubs, but also establishing long-lasting relationships from individual to corporate level.
He has a flair for educating brokers on how OSB Group (Precise, Kent Reliance for Intermediaries and InterBay) can assist their clients, identify new opportunities and, in turn, grow their businesses.
Jonathan’s career began at Kiwi Bank in New Zealand. After discovering he had a passion for mortgages, he put himself through the CeMAP qualification on his return to the UK, which helped him become a mortgage adviser and he’s never looked back.
He’s worked in other roles, including business development manager positions, which helped him hone his skills, before joining Precise Mortgages in 2019 as key account manager and progressing to corporate account manager for the OSB Group brands.
After 20 years working in the financial services sector, Ian brings a wealth of experience to the role.
Ian uses the extensive market knowledge he has gained, as well as his cross-brand expertise of Precise, Kent Reliance for Intermediaries and InterBay Commercial, to find tailored solutions, helping brokers grow their businesses.
Ian is responsible for delivering educational and thought-leadership presentations. A natural communicator, Ian is never happier than when standing in front of a room full of brokers. He is passionate about passing on what he’s learnt after two decades in the industry to make sure they’re armed with the knowledge they need.
After starting his career as a corporate relationship manager with Abbey National in 2002, Ian moved to a well-renowned packager where he worked his way up from a business development manager role to head of sales. He joined Precise Mortgages in 2017 as BDM for the North West, before moving across to the key accounts team within a year, where he progressed to senior corporate account manager for OSB Group. He was named Best Account Manager of the Year at the Dynamo Annual Awards in 2020 and 2021.
With a wealth of knowledge built up over nearly 30 years, Andy is perfectly placed to support key accounts and networks, no matter how challenging or unusual a case.
Andy began his career as a telemarketer for Mortgage Trust in 1995 before moving into a business development manager role, a position he held at several different companies, including Standard Life, SPML and Nationwide.
He joined Kent Reliance for Intermediaries as a BDM in 2015 and became a member of the Key Relationship Team in early 2022. As key relationship manager, he’s responsible for maintaining and developing relationships with the Group’s corporate account partners and presenting at events and conferences around the UK.
Andy enjoys promoting the solutions offered by OSB Group’s three brands and explaining the wide variety of different scenarios and types of business they can help with.
Neil Wyatt has worked in the mortgage industry for 25 years, gaining experience in developing growth strategy for business. As Sales & Marketing Director at Mortgage Brain, Neil is driven by a mission to make the home ownership process connected, seamless and intuitive for all, and is best known for inspiring the sales and marketing proposition.
Most recently, Neil held the position of Head of Distribution at Platform (The Co-operative Bank) for six years. His previous experience includes Sales Director at Connect Mortgage Group and Head of Corporate Accounts at Mortgages Plc, where he was responsible for creating strategic relationships.
Neil recognises the huge opportunities that technology brings to the mortgage market, and was previously named Development & Innovation Advocate at the 2021 British Mortgage Awards.
As the Sales Director for Intermediaries at Mortgage Brain, Sharon plays a pivotal role in championing Mortgage Brain’s innovative products. She recognises the benefit of providing solutions that streamline the mortgage process for advisers and works closely with corporate customers to understand each company’s specific needs.
Sharon’s passion for the mortgage industry can be traced back to her time at Santander for Intermediaries, where she worked for 23 years rising to the position of National Account Manager. She also worked at Countrywide as Head of Insurance Services before joining Mortgage Brain.
Sharon truly puts the customer at the heart of Mortgage Brain, which is essential to the business’ growth and innovation, helping to further refine and develop solutions to support the work of advisers.
